It was a hundred and freaking six degrees the week we were up there, so we escaped to the more temperate coast for a few hours.

Good thing about Portland is they have tons of kid-friendly pubs.

Juniper has figured out that the cats pay special attention when she’s holding a bag of treats, and the cats have realized that she will likely dump the whole bag onto the ground. Everybody wins!

This one creeps me out, she looks so much like me:

I just realized on another viewing that this picture also has an uncanny similarity to a certain picture of Jared when he was about five, sitting on a horse, looking at the camera with a withering patience waiting for the picture to be taken. Wish I could find a copy of that to juxtapose!
